Here is a reminder of all the information about the first class.
- Time: 19:00 (beginners course), 20:15 (thematic classes).
- Duration: 75 minutes.
- Location: Cultuurhuis De Paulus, Warmonderweg 2, 2341 KV Oegstgeest.
The location is 15 minutes walking distance from Leiden Centraal.
Cultuurhuis De Paulus is located inside the Pauluskerk church building. The entrance is through the glass structure in the church courtyard.
It is possible to park in the courtyard for free.
We teach in the Consistoire room. We will likely meet you at the entrance, but if you don’t see anyone, go past the two staircases into the corridor. You can enter the room from the first door to the right.
How to dress for the class
This is a dance class. While tango is often danced in fancy clothes and high-heeled shoes, those are not recommended.
- Dress comfortably. Gym and dance clothes are good since we are in a dance studio. If you don’t have any, wear something that allows movement. This won’t be an intense cardio class. However, you might sweat a bit.
- Wear flat shoes. We will work on body mechanics and movement, so flat shoes are ideal. Even though women often dance in high-heeled shoes, they are not recommended for learning. Dance sneakers or normal sneakers are recommended. If you don’t have any, wear flexible flat shoes.
