Intensive Argentine Tango Course for Beginners in Amsterdam

Focused on movement and individual technique. Dance with confidence, express yourself, no prior dance experience required.

• 90 minutes lessons on Monday evenings. Trial class on November 3rd at 19:00.
• Extra guided practice on Tuesdays. Optional, but recommended.
• No partner needed. The classes will include both individual and partner work.
• Focus on movement and individual technique to help you dance from the first lesson.

We are starting a new 4-weeks course for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of Argentine tango. The course will focus on movement and connection even if you don’t have without any prior dance experience.

The course will take place on Moday evenings at 19:00, on November 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, in Cliffordstudio, located in Cliffordstraat 38, 1051 GV Amsterdam.

What we offer

• 90 minutes Monday lessons for beginners to learn the fundamentals of Argentine tango and allow you to become able to dance quickly without spending months on sequences you will soon forget.
• Extra guided practice on Tuesdays (optional, but recommended) to help you solidify what you learn in the classes, clarify any questions you might have, catch up if you miss a class, and introduce you to the world of social tango dancing.
• No partner needed as the classes will include both individual and partner work, helping you to speed up the learning process and dance with different partners at social events or learn practice with partners of your same role.
• Focus on movement and individual technique to help you overcome the biggest barriers for beginners, allowing you to dance with confidence, connect with your partner through a physical language, and express yourself through dance.
